Quirky, funny, and an actress with growing talents: Jennifer Lawrence is definitely one of our celebrity sweethearts and we would like to write her a letter of gratitude. Not only because we loved her recent performance in Joy, or because her on-screen dynamic with Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook made us believe in love again, but because – of course – we’re inspired by her hair.

Medium, Wavy, and Blonde

She looks like such a sweetheart with her short hair, but we love the sass even more. Jennifer Lawrence is rocking blonde highlights with darker lows, and the wavy texture is very forgiving for flyaways. At the end of Joy, she was rocking an extra blonde look, paired with dark sunglasses, which certainly left an impression on the other characters and on us.

Long, Up, and Contrasting

Jennifer Lawrence as a neurotic housewife in American Hustle was hilarious to watch. But there’s nothing funny about her hair – instead, it’s captivating and formal, with an elaborate up-do that shows off honey blondes and browns. She has her fringe starting further up her head, creating a regal appearance that’s almost waiting for a crown or tiara. We love the tight ringlet on the left side, making the hairstyle asymmetrical and bold.

Long, Dark, and Pleated

“Whenever Josh [Hutcherson] is like “I don’t think you should do it like that.” And then I’m like “Oh, really? Do you wanna tell that to my Oscar?”

And of course, there’s Jennifer at her ultimate strong woman in the Hunger Games (though, debatably she’s even tougher in Winter’s Bone) with her hair pleated for practicality. She’s got a short fringe swept to the side and dark brown hair with some auburn tones in it. It’s easy, it’s simple, and it’s gorgeous.
