Earlier this year, one of our clients, Michelle Tan selflessly took a trip to Vietnam to lend a helping hand at one of the country’s many struggling orphanages. The children ranged from 3 years to 17 years old and they were all mentally impaired in some way.
We held a fundraising morning for Michelle’s trip at the city salon and managed to send her away with $450 for the children. After arriving home, Michelle has reported back that all of the kind donations are being strategically spent on much needed resources. The orphanage organisers have said they will purchase things like stationery, whiteboards, blocks and beads, flashcards, story books, maths books, play dough, balls, hoops etc. Some funds will also go towards warm clothing for the children, lollies and rehabilitation equipment for the more severely impaired kids.
Michelle said it was the absolute trip of a lifetime and she couldn’t be more grateful for all the donations she received for the kids. See below some of the adorable photos she captured while she was there!
Well done Michelle and thank you to all out loyal clients who supported our fundraising morning!
